Personalized In-Home Senior Care Services

Where to Start

Whether you need short-term or long-term care, everyone is unique and has varied needs and preferences. That is why we offer a complimentary in-home assessment to help identify those specific needs and personal preferences, to set specific goals, develop a plan of care and schedule, as well as on-going follow-up plan, and pricing and payment options.

Personal Hygiene Care

Most individuals can be very modest when it comes to their ability to perform personal hygiene care. Our caregivers understand the need to be respectful of privacy and maintain dignity while helping with personal care. All Personal Care Aides are thoroughly trained in proper hygiene that includes bathing, hair care, toileting, shaving, and oral hygiene. All staff are also trained in Hospice Care.

Dementia/Alzheimer's Care

Our professionally trained caregivers take a positive approach to Dementia/Alzheimer's care focusing on what clients are able to do, not what they cannot do. Providing meaningful activities in a positive environment that stimulate and encourage them in their daily routines.  Caregivers work closely with family members to help deal with the struggles and challenges that accompany caring for a loved one.

Companion and homemaker services not only relieve stress for family caregivers, but also provide the healthy interaction that is vital for seniors in retaining physical and cognitive abilities. Our services include:

  • Transportation to appointments
  • Meal Preparation
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Laundry/Bed Linen Changes
  • Shopping and Errands
  • Respite Care
  • Medication Reminders/Management
  • and more

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

Yes, absolutely. Heaven Sent carries professional liability and bonding insurance at the required State Regulatory levels as well as Worker's Compensation and takes care of all State and Federal payroll taxes so you will never need to worry about becoming an "incidental employer."

Do I have to sign a contract for a specific length of time?

No, we do not require you to sign a contract for a period of time. We do have a Service Agreement and Plan of Care that outlines the services to be provided. We work with you on a schedule to meet your needs and the plan of care can be modified to meet your changing needs. If you need to cancel services, we request one week notice.

Will we have the same caregiver every time?

Because this is such a personal service, Heaven Sent will provide you with the caregiver(s) that you like and are comfortable with. The most important thing to us is that you are happy and feel comfortable with your caregiver. If for any reason you become uncomfortable with a caregiver, please contact our office and we will assist you in selecting another caregiver.

Do I pay the caregiver directly?

No, you should never pay a caregiver directly. Payment is always remitted directly to our office and payment arrangements are made during the complimentary assessment.

Can I make changes to the schedule?

Yes, we just ask that you give us as much notice as possible. We understand that emergencies or events occur that are out of your control and will work with you when you need us to. Last minute cancellations for other than emergencies may be subject to fees.
